Decided I should give a proper update. But I guess no one's really missing anything. I've been semi-regular in updating on Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace. More or less. Give and take.

I rented some movies for the first time in a looooong while. I was so excited to finally see The Corpse Bride, and I must admit for the first ten minutes that it actually worked, it was...erm...I'll be honest I think it was pretty terrible. Someone told me it was golden.
I think that kind of thing has been done by the same freaking person, lets say, about eight times already. There comes a point where originality, simply becomes unoriginal by, lets call it over-exposure.

I find that's happening a loooot lately. It might actually be happening to me, but I only submit something every blue moon, so I suppose it's all good...?

Today I babysat some kids of a friends'. Theres two. The oldest is teeeeerrible. Holy crap. If I had a son like that, he would be covered in bruises ._. not that those kind of traits run in my family, I have to admit.

Afterwards at a meeting, someone was holding the youngest, and they were sitting waaaaay across the room from me, and everyone in there was quiet, and then all the sudden...

"BOOK!"

"Booo~oook!!"

It hurt to pointedly not look at her :C I'm sure everyone in there turned and looked at me.

Ummm, OH! ROFL well I tried downloading the Vista update-thing-which-really-isn't-an-official-XP-Vista-update-thing-at-least-I-think, but like, so those things totally usually work.

This one didn't.

Ffff.

I wanted to throw my computer out the window. 8C

Okay okay the problem was, despite it looking all pretty and official, it would NOT let me click on anything -- except the programs that it was friends with. It didn't like the shut down button and wasn't particularly fond of the recycle bin, and if it had its way, my screen would've been completely black save for the freaking program's Welcome screen. But, so, like since it didn't show up on my add or remove programs list, I had to uninstall it from the welcome screen. Alright, it didn't remove everything, that nasty little thing. It left me the vista cursor, desktop Icons, annoying little sounds it makes when you minimize a window, creepy little white space that appears over the 'Start' button, pretending that it looks like that flashy Vista windows button, (but really not). Aughghghghgh
So I re-installed it and uninstalled it again. Okay. Now I get about 49038403298432 'bad image' errors every time I sign on, and my Select Username screen is still Vista-y.

I also get the shadow where the side time-thingy should be. Only its not there. FFF

I'm like 'good god almighty, is there no escaping this?' For once in my short life, I actually enjoy the sight of Windows XP. Hell has frozen over. There is no denying this.

So I Install-uninstalled a-freaking-gain. And I think everythings okay now. Nothing looks ~~swine flu~~ Vista-ish. Still too scared to delete the program-installer thing because last time I did that it had a fit. I'll get rid of it eventually.
And I'd thought that maybe it'd been the Luna theme I had for my toolbar, y'know. Nope.

uruu. HOMG I found an old VHS tape that's from 200...1, and its when we'd had to go somewhere, so we recorded Toonami so I could watch the DBZ episode and wouldnt miss it ROFL, but it made me realize how much I missed Toonami :C Th-There was a DBZ episode on there, the one where Vegeta explodes and stuff, and then a Sailor Moon movie with that gay guy who says he's what's-his-face's friend, and then a pokemon episode, and then that HILARIOUS Samurai Jack episode, the one with the Irish man and the bridge. LMAO. ff

I never really laugh at stuff out loud. Ever. By myself. I about woke the neighborhood watching it. XD oh my god. One of the funniest things I've seen in a looooooong time.

And you know, watching it and all of the commercials made me wonder how I knew the difference between 'new' commercials, and 'old' commercials back then. Because they all have the same quality ._.
Maybe it was that I made game out of trying to read the fine print on every comm that played, so I was always catching the year. I don't know. I'm rambling on. It's amazing.

But I was looking forward all day to come home, read a good fanfic, and drink some tea. So I'll go do that and ignore my schoolwork and artwork and literary-work for a bit longer.
